An ofrenda is an altar or offering created and displayed for Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) to honor deceased loved ones.
It’s a spiritual and artistic way to welcome the souls of the deceased back to the land of the living to be remembered and celebrated.

In this class, we’ll be embroidering a 5-inch diameter Ofrenda pattern that includes a sugar skull, a rosary, a candle and marigolds.
With this project you’ll learn how to make more than 5 different embroidery stitches.
